For vertical surfaces like siding and pergolas, we utilize a professional Three-Stage Power Wash:
- Strip: We apply a stripping agent to remove as much of the failing previous product as possible.
- Scrub: We use a deep-cleaning agent to eliminate tannin bleed, oxidation, mildew, and dirt.
- Balance: We finish with a mellow oxalic acid rinse to brighten the wood and balance its pH for maximum stain adhesion.
For Decks, Patios, and Stairs, we go even further:After replacing compromised boards and securing every screw, we use a random orbital square floor buffer to sand flat surfaces in a progressive 60/80 grit sequence. We hand-sand all railings for a furniture-grade feel, blow away every trace of sawdust, and apply the finish strictly to manufacturer specs—by hand or spray—to ensure a flawless, lasting bond.
